Nadi rode a decent outing from starter Geoffrey Kamut to victory over the Lae Kumuls. The final score was 5-2. Nadi's record now stands at 11-14, placing them 5th in the Melanesia League.

The Bati got a big hit from center fielder Doug Taufa. In the top of the eighth, Taufa pounded a bases-clearing double to center. His 6th double of the season put the Bati ahead, 5-2.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Bati," said Taufa.
