Wigmen Need Extra Innings to Top Dragons, 5-3
Port Moresby starter Rocky Vaikona pitched well against the Honiara Dragons at Dragons Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Alan Fa'arodo notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. The win gives Port Moresby a season record of 18-12.

Port Moresby used the timely hitting of George Rasolea to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Wigmen on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"There's no quit in this team," said Wigmen manager Geoff Matt.
