Wigmen Need Extra Innings to Top Vulcans, 13-10
The Port Moresby Wigmen outlasted the Vanuatu Vulcans, 13-10, in 14 innings. Vaelua Lam led the way, going 2-for-7 for Port Moresby. With the win, Port Moresby upped its record to 24-17.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Jean-Brice Morel came to bat in the top of the 14th. Facing Vanuatu pitcher David Lusibaea, he hit a 0-2 curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Port Moresby on top, 12-10.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Morel. "Those qualities define our team."
