Black Pearls Squelch Clippers Offense in Shutout Win
Papeete Black Pearls starter Lenny Delaiverata was in fine form against the Tafuna Clippers at Black Pearls Ballpark, leading his team to a win, 3-0. In 7.1 innings, Delaiverata surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Jude Nasse was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Pascal Gaillard drove in one run for Papeete. The 2055 Rookie of the Year Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Richard Solbat. It was his 27th RBI of the season.
