Tafuna Tops Papeete Again, 4-3
With starter Severo Vakaloloma leading the charge, the Tafuna Clippers defeated the Papeete Black Pearls, 4-3, in Game 2 of the League Cup today. The right-hander threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball at Tony Solaita Baseball Field to help Tafuna take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Uigaese Keyser had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Tafuna. He came through with a 3-run home run to put Tafuna in front, 3-1.

"We did a lot of things right," said Vakaloloma.

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Black Pearls Ballpark in Papeete.
