Micah Ropati was superb against Samoa. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the PL with a 8 quality starts, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Red Sox victory. The score was 2-0. Jimilai Baleikasavu converted his 7th save in 11 tries. The 5th-place Red Sox improved to 26-31.

The Nautilus had little chance against Ropati, who overpowered Samoa hitters and struck out 10.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Ropati.
