Tafuna Clippers starter Richard Solbat was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Avarua Kiore, 6-3. Pat Hakwa recorded his 10th save for Tafuna. With the win, Tafuna pushed its record to 33-25.

Owen Samiu gave Tafuna a good at-bat in the top of the fifth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly to help send Tafuna to the win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Samiu said after the game.
