Nautilus Win Thriller, 2-1
|
Tonga got a valiant performance from pitcher Kyle Tuinagiagia, but it wasn't enough to beat the Samoa Nautilus. Samoa won the game, 2-1. Tuinagiagia threw 8.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. With the victory, the Nautilus record now stands at 34-38.
Semo Mika was the walk-off hero for Samoa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nautilus third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
