Kumuls Lose, 4-2, at Ballpark of Vanuatu

The Vanuatu Vulcans topped the Lae Kumuls by the score of 4-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Raumatahi Lemaire. Lemaire went 3-3 with 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs for the Vulcans on the day. Afano Adams, credited with the save, is now 11 for 13 in save opportunities. Vanuatu, with the win, sits at 22-51.
In the bottom of the fourth, Vanuatu left fielder Aurélien Ben had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Ben stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-1, Vanuatu. For the game, he was 1-3 with a walk.
After the game, Vanuatu manager Jim Burns applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
