Suva starter Clement Laurent had a strong outing against the Samoa Nautilus at Albert Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. The winning pitcher was Laurent, now 3-8. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 13. The Red Sox now have a record of 33-40.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Red Sox had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when right fielder Logan Hale hit a 2-run home run. The home run came off Luke Lofipo and made the score 4-1, Red Sox.
