Micah Ropati never let Samoa get something going. The Suva right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Red Sox to a 4-1 win. Suva is now 54-62, Samoa 51-65.

Suva used the timely hitting of Oliver Hava to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Red Sox ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Ropati.
