Lam Named 2063 NC Most Valuable Player Award Winner

The future looks extremely bright for Vaelua Lam. At the age of 22, many players are still trying to find their way in Nations Cup.
Lam has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Nations Cup Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .362 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Samoa star also put up a .422 on-base percentage this year, with 21 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 12. Max David of the New Caledonia finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Jayden Harry of the Vanuatu finished third with 3 first place votes.
