Kamut Holds Vulcans Scoreless Friday, September 11th , 2065 Geoffrey Kamut really had his stuff working at Udre Udre Field today. The Nadi Bati hurler mystified the Vanuatu Vulcans and shut them out 1-0. Kamut allowed a total of 7 hits in the ballgame and struck out 14. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Kamut said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." Kamut has made 22 starts, tossed 179 innings, struck out 186 batters and walked 43. His record is 12-8 with a 2.72 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .228 batting average.
