Motley Takes Wild Card Championship
|
The Motley Crue made it look easy and are heading to the League Championship.
They have ousted the Red Springs Red Robins in a sweep, the final win coming by a 4-2 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Fred Henson, who was named MVP for the series.
Henson hit .636 with a .692 on-base percentage. He added 3 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.
The Motley Crue will play against the Spruce Grove Eagles in the next round. Spruce Grove had a bye in the Wild Card Championship. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Championship finishes.
