The Killaloe Brewers will have to put any fleeting championship aspirations on hold for the time being. The Brewers were mathematically eliminated from contention for the 1972 playoffs today.

Rockets Out of Time, Out of Playoffs

It's been a year to forget for the Kentucky Rockets and the club has now been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.
Kentucky last appeared in the postseason in 1966. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 38-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rockets have only made the playoffs once.
