Trappers Move on to Wild Card Championship
Edmonton Trappers won a nail-biting series against the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1, wrapping up the Wild Card Brawl finale 4-1 at SkyDome.

Trappers third baseman Simon Decker was named the series MVP.

He batted .545, drove in 1 runs and scored 3 to lead Edmonton into the next round of play.

"Simon was real solid for us, real solid," said Trappers manager Connor MacNamara. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Edmonton Trappers will play against the San Francisco Meatballs in the next round. San Francisco won their series against the Chi-town Coalition 2 games to 1. The Wild Card Championship schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Brawl finishes..
