Rhoads K's 13 En Route to 5-3 Rainiers Win
|
The Seattle Rainiers topped the Louisville Redbirds, 5-3. Brandon Rhoads, who led the UL in ERA with 2.46 in 1964, engineered a dominant performance. The win lifted the Seattle record to 80-52.
Rhoads, now 12-7, scattered 3 hits over 9 innings for the Rainiers.
Rhoads attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
