Oracles Absorb 5-1 Loss at Estadio Hiram Bithorn
|
The Puerto Rico Hurricanes topped the Orlando Oracles, 5-1, in Ursa League action at Estadio Hiram Bithorn. The game was highlighted by the performance of Puerto Rico pitcher César Castillo. Jorge Rincón earned his 2nd save in 2 chances. The victory puts Puerto Rico at 52-87.
In the bottom of the first, Andrej Eenkhoorn hit a 3-run home run. The 23rd home run of the season for the Puerto Rico left fielder put the Hurricanes on top, 3-0.
Eenkhoorn told a Puerto Rico News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
