The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Newton trailing 5-4, Potts hit a sinker from Rick Reuschel for a 2-run home run, giving the Railers the walk-off win.

"Enjoyed this one," Potts told the Newton Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
