Sea Unicorns Win 8-6 Walk-Off
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Ichiyo Nakamura, the Carolina Sea Unicorns defeated the Chi-town Coalition, 8-6. Nakamura was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Sea Unicorns. Carolina reliever Luke Walker picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Phil Berry was saddled with the loss. The win has Carolina at 14-27.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Nakamura hit a curveball from Phil Berry for a 2-run home run. The Sea Unicorns, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Nakamura told a Carolina Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
