Blue Jays Improve to 33-19 with 7-1 Win
|
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Walt Clark pitched a good game against the Harlem Hellions at Hell, leading his team to victory, 7-1. Toronto now owns a record of 33-19.
Toronto relied on the hitting of John Ellis to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 3-1. For the game, Ellis had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Ellis.
