Blue Jays Upend Trappers, 4-3
Toronto pitcher Ogai Nakayama did his part in helping his team beat the Edmonton Trappers, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Steve Carlton, credited with the save, is now 14 for 16 in save opportunities. Toronto's record now stands at 35-25, placing them 4th in the Canis Division.

Toronto used a well-timed hit by Waylon Castro to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Nakayama.
