Pioneers Win, 4-2, at Edmonton

Redwood picked up a win at John Ducey Park, bumping off the Edmonton Trappers, 4-2. Pitcher Ronnie Drake was a major reason the Pioneers emerged victorious. Chandler Davis recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 22 for 23. With the win, the Pioneers have a record of 54-30.
Steve Scott chipped in for Redwood, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4 with a double.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Drake said.
