Harlem used a superb performance from starting pitcher Yoshihisa Koyama to down the Carolina Sea Unicorns, 1-0. Jerry Hinsley finished the game for Harlem and earned his 15th save. Carolina has now lost 5 consecutive games.

The Sea Unicorns had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Hellions going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old right fielder Cliff Lambert came to the plate. Lambert hit a solo home run on a 1-2 fastball from Carolina hurler Clay Kirby. It was Lambert's 12th home run of the year.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Harlem manager Elmer Franks said.
