Otis Homers Twice in 9-3 Blue Jays Win
Getting a good performance from center fielder Amos Otis, the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Edmonton Trappers, 9-3. Otis was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Blue Jays. The third-place Blue Jays have won 4 in a row.

The Blue Jays got an important contribution from right fielder Edgar Ledesma, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a knuckleball into right for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 6-3.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Blue Jays manager Hollis Wright, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
