Bronx picked up a win at Seals Ballpark, toppling the California Seals, 4-1. Pitcher Nick Brown was one of the reasons the Bombers triumphed. Pablo Guzmán closed the game out for Bronx, earning his 12th save. Bronx is now 47-48, California 44-51.

Bronx relied on the hitting of José Rodríguez to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bombers on top, 4-0. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Brown.
