It was a big day for Von Joshua and he brought the Edmonton Cubs along for the ride.

Joshua led his club to a 14-12 victory over the Asheville Tourists today at Cubs Field, smoking Asheville pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet."

Von Joshua hit a solo-shot off Rick Reuschel in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
