Montreal got a decent performance from pitcher Sammy Calderón, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hollywood Vampires. Hollywood won the Delorimier Stadium contest, 4-1. Calderón threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Joël Garcia, now 2-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. The win has Hollywood at 13-22.

Hollywood used a clutch hit from Seth Lewis to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Vampires ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Hollywood manager Alan Wilkerson. "Our pregame was pretty good."
