Stars Topple Eddies with Late Rally
Hollywood Grounds was the site for Ursa League action featuring the Iron City Eddies and Hollywood Stars.

Starting pitcher Jack Prieto pitched well enough to help the Hollywood Stars beat the Iron City Eddies, 6-3. Joël Garcia earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 2-4. Earning his 1st save of the year was Mark Wood.

Hollywood took a 5-3 lead on Bob James's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Iron City pitcher Thomas Watts in the bottom of the eighth.

"It's a long season," said James. "We'll keep working to improve."

The win gives the Stars a record of 8-28.
