Getting a good performance from second baseman Miguel Chávez, the Orlando Oracles defeated the Houston Colt .45s, 6-4. Chávez went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Oracles. Juan Flores got credit for the save for Orlando. It was his 4th of the year.
