Eddies Stumble, Lose to Terriers
The St. Louis Terriers topped the Iron City Eddies, 8-4, in Ursa League action at Iron City Field. The standout performance belonged to St. Louis pitcher and Cambridge, Massachusetts, native Emílio Peterson. Peterson, now 4-3, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 12 hits, while striking out 13, walking 1, and allowing 4 runs. The win elevated the Terriers to 24-13.

St. Louis used the timely hitting of Emílio Durán to capture the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Terriers on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Peterson.
