McQueen Twirls a Gem for Redwood
|
Redwood Pioneers starter Tim McQueen was on his game, helping his team beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-0. The Pioneers bumped their record to 73-33 with this latest triumph.
McQueen tossed 103 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Pioneers. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 11 strikeouts in the game.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said McQueen.
