Aces, Jefferson Deal Pioneers 5-0 Setback
|
Right-hander Scott Jefferson mesmerized the Redwood Pioneers while leading the Atlantic City Aces to a 5-0 victory. The 8th-place Aces improved to 51-60.
The Pioneers had little chance against Jefferson, who overpowered Redwood hitters and struck out 10.
"Scott was throwing strikes, locating well," said Atlantic City manager Rubén Elías.
