Knights Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to Pioneers
The Redwood Pioneers electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

The Ottawa Knights got a superb performance from pitcher Ricardo Padilla. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Redwood. The Pioneers won the game, 3-2. Padilla threw 8.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The win belongs to Chandler Davis in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Ramón Pérez took the loss for Ottawa.

The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the 11th. On a pitch from Ramón Pérez, Chris Green hit a run-scoring single. It gave Redwood the 3-2 win.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Green, "one at-bat at a time."

The losses continue to mount for Ottawa, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
