St. Louis Eliminated from Playoff Contention
Tuesday, September 28th , 1976
The St. Louis Terriers were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Dale Singleton of the Terriers said it's a tough way to finish out the season.

"To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said.

This is the club's 10th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1966. In total, the Terriers have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 42-year history. St. Louis has won the Polaris Classic 2 times in their history.
