UL's Top Rookie Crowned

Today the Ursa League announced that Seattle left fielder Donald Martin is the winner of the 1973 Prime Rook Award.
He finished the regular season with a .270 batting average, 28 doubles, 1 triple and 31 home runs. Martin also had 81 RBIs and scored 77 times.
Russ McDowell of the St. Louis Terriers finished second in voting, while Tom Alexander of the Hollywood Vampires finished third.
