CL Top Batter Trophy Won by Otis Thursday, June 1st , 1972 Amos Otis made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Canis League this past month. The Toronto Blue Jays center fielder shined through the month of May and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .450 with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
