Hurricanes Blank Orlando, Bradshaw Winner Wednesday, July 12th , 1972 Kurt Bradshaw dominated the Orlando Oracles with a brilliant 1-hit shutout in a Puerto Rico Hurricanes 1-0 triumph at Estadio Hiram Bithorn. The Puerto Rico hurler fanned 13 and walked 1 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," Oracles skipper Ben Moore said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings." Up to now Bradshaw has compiled an ERA of 3.81 with a 4-8 mark over 14 starts.
