For the last 34 games in a row, the 23-year-old third baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Texarkana Bears beat the Fort Myers Armada 11-1 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Hudson told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Texarkana clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Frank Hudson grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. This season Hudson is batting .327 with 118 hits, 8 home runs, 49 RBIs, 34 walks, .383 OBP and has scored 49 runs. He has played in 87 games. |
