Madawaska Won't Make Playoffs Tuesday, August 29th , 1972 The Madawaska Orioles have spent much of the season on the outside looking in at the playoff race. They will be permanently on the outside now, after being officially eliminated from contention today. The Orioles have missed the playoffs 36 times in their 38 years as a PUB Sasquatch League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 26th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1946. Madawaska last won the AAA Championship in 1946. |
