Hernandez Sizzles -- Smokes Eagles for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 19th , 1972 The Red Springs Red Robins upended the Spruce Grove Eagles at Spruce Ballpark today, thanks in large part to shortstop Enzo Hernandez, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Red Robins to a 19-2 victory. Enzo Hernandez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season Hernandez is batting .319 with 7 home runs. |
