Rebels Blanked by Walker Thursday, July 27th , 1972 It was a long day at the plate for the Boothbay Harbor Rebels at Boothbay Harbor Fields today. They never figured out Bethesda Gamers starter Willie Walker and were shut out 5-0. The left-hander baffled the Rebels the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 1 hit in a well-pitched outing. Walker also totaled 11 strikeouts and 4 walks in the game. Over the season Walker has thrown 62.1 innings and dished out 93 strikeouts with a 3-5 mark and a 4.62 ERA. |
