Kill Devil Hills Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Monday, September 8th , 1997 The Kill Devil Hills Killers clubhouse had a subdued atmosphere today, as it became official that the Killers had officially missed the postseason. "We were close, but not close enough," Kill Devil Hills manager Tom Yewcic said. Kill Devil Hills last appeared in the postseason in 1991. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Killers have missed the playoffs 8 times. Kill Devil Hills has won the Round 1 2 times in their history. |
