The Muscatine Muskateers faced a tough opponent in Texas pitcher Abel Lynn, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Five-O Colosseum by a final score of 6-5. Lynn went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs. Muscatine reliever Paul Washington picked up the win, upping his record to 7-10. Matt Haye absorbed the loss. The Muskateers go to 71-73, putting them 4th in the Origin League Bottom Right.

Ralph Allen drew 1 walk for Muscatine. The 30-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Matt Haye. It was his 30th walk of the season.
