It wasn't easy but Craig Ramsey made it look that way.

Ramsey silenced the New Orleans Crawdads, 9-0, in a Halifax Fishin Cows triumph at Riverside Gardens today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Ramsey said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 3 hits.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."

On the year Ramsey has worked 106 innings with 96 strikeouts en route to a 8-4 record and 2.89 ERA.
