Brawlers Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Boston Brawlers and Las Vegas Bunnies.

The Boston Brawlers got a stellar performance from pitcher Pancho Fuentes, who handcuffed the Las Vegas offense en route to a win, 4-0, at The Bare Knuckle Pit. Fuentes, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 12, walking 2, and allowing no runs.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at The Bare Knuckle Pit seemed to enjoy watching the Origin League action.

Fuentes called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."

With the win, Boston boosts its record to 8-12.
