High Noon Saloon Park Redux was the site for Steam League action featuring the Buffalo Stampede and St. Louis Outlaws.

James Sullivan was outstanding against Buffalo. The right-hander, who is tied for 5th in the SL in wins with 5, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Outlaws 5-2 win. Sullivan got the win, improving to 5-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 5 over 6 innings. Sullivan allowed no runs. Brian Langley picked up the save for St. Louis, his 14th of the year.

Howard Williams put St. Louis in front, 3-0, when he took Ron Wallace downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the fifth. It was his 4th home run of the season.

"Nice win for us," said Williams. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The loss makes Buffalo 13-25.
