Los Angeles turned a good performance from starting pitcher Cliff Garrett into a 4-1 triumph over the Lincoln Liberators at MILF Hunter Park. Los Angeles reliever Rickey Krantz picked up the win, upping his record to 6-0. Marty Sears was saddled with the loss. The Brazzers of Burbank raised their record to 55-47.

Los Angeles grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Rupert Thackeray delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1, in favor of the Brazzers of Burbank.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Los Angeles manager Mike Smith.
