Brawlers Get 4-3 Win Versus Halifax
The Bare Knuckle Pit was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Boston Brawlers and Halifax Fishin Cows.

The Boston Brawlers overcame a good performance by Halifax third baseman José Martínez to knock off Halifax, 4-3, at The Bare Knuckle Pit. Martínez went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Alan Miller got the save, his 23rd in 27 chances.

The Brawlers beat the Fishin Cows with some clutch hitting. The single by Parker Bailey in the bottom of the seventh is a good example. With two down, Bailey gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he came through with the big hit.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Bailey, "one at-bat at a time."

The loss makes Halifax 42-74.
