A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Ottawa Wendigo and Woonsocket Mongeese.

The Ottawa Wendigo beat the Woonsocket Mongeese, 8-2, at Slingshot Park. The Wendigo got a fine performance from center fielder Molly June, who was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Tynan Walters. He tossed 93 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits.

June came through for the Wendigo in the top of the third inning. With Ottawa leading 2-1, the center fielder hit a 2-run home run. It made the score 4-1, Ottawa.
